Red Light Therapy Beds for Home Use: Buying Guide

Zenapura Versa LED Red Light Therapy Bed

The right red light therapy bed for home use is one that fits your room, power supply and access route, with a configuration you understand. In the Zenapura range, Versa is the compact starting point; MaxiLUX offers a wider tunnel and larger footprint.

Choose the format before choosing an LED count. A bed that fits on a floor plan still needs clearance for entry, opening and maintenance, plus a workable route from curbside into the home.

Start with Versa if reducing the equipment footprint is a priority. Compare MaxiLUX if its wider tunnel is preferable and you have the additional room. Dimensions describe the equipment, not a complete minimum room size.

Measure more than the footprint

Mark the proposed position on the floor, then check how you will approach, enter and leave the bed. Ask for model-specific opening and service clearances. Leave access to controls and any components that need routine attention.

Walk the entire delivery route. Record the narrowest doorway, corridor width, tightest turn, stairs and changes in level. A product's assembled width does not tell you the shipping-crate width or whether it can be dismantled to pass through a doorway. Confirm those points before ordering.

Confirm electrical compatibility

Versa lists 110 V / 220 V configurations, while MaxiLUX lists 220 V / 380 V configurations. These are configuration listings, not permission to connect any unit to any household socket. Ask SimWellness to confirm the voltage, phase, circuit requirements and connection of the exact unit.

Have your electrician review the documentation before preparing the circuit. Do not copy an installation specification from a different Zenapura model or rely on a generic “plug-and-play” description.

Understand the light options

Recovery lists 633, 660, 810, 850 and 940 nm wavelengths. Skin Care + Recovery lists 633, 660, 450, 525, 590, 850 and 940 nm. Choose the documented configuration that matches your intended wellness setup, and follow its operating instructions.

The configuration names do not establish a personalized treatment plan. Session settings, eye protection and use restrictions should follow the supplied manual; a product buying guide cannot determine medical suitability.

Plan delivery and ownership

The beds are made to order and arrive crated with curbside freight included. Installation and white-glove service are excluded. Arrange safe unloading and movement into the room, and confirm the production and delivery window before making room-preparation commitments.

Ask for written warranty, servicing, cancellation and return terms. Keep the order configuration and electrical documentation with the manual so future support requests refer to the correct unit.

Before you buy

  • Compare the selected bed against your measured space.
  • Confirm opening clearance, crate size and the entire access route.
  • Verify the exact US electrical specification.
  • Check the price for your LED count and light configuration.
  • Agree delivery responsibilities and written order terms.
