Green Eagle Electric Caddies Compared: NEOS vs NOVA vs Aria Carbon Remote vs Follow M8

In this guide

Green Eagle sell four electric caddies, from $799 to $1,799. The gap between them is not really price, it is how much you want the cart to do on its own. One of them now follows you around the course, one can be upgraded to do that later, and two are remote controlled and will stay that way.

    Which One To Buy

Green Eagle NEOS electric golf push cart in black with green wheels, folded-out and viewed from the front

Buy the NEOS if you just want to stop pushing $799

It is the cheapest way into an electric caddy and the fastest of the four at 7.5 mph. Twin 400W motors are the strongest here, and at 25 lb with the battery in you can lift it into a boot on your own. You control it by remote. It does not follow you, it has no screen and no app, and it does not need them. See the NEOS.

Green Eagle NOVA electric golf push cart loaded with a golf bag, front three-quarter view

Buy the NOVA if you want the most in the cart $1,199

An LCD on the handle, a phone app, four driving modes, a gyroscope, downhill auto-brake and 100 lb of capacity. It is also the only one with an upgrade path: a Follow Kit arrives in autumn 2026 that turns it into a follow caddy without buying a second cart. If you are torn between spending $799 now and $1,799 now, this is the answer to that question. See the NOVA.

Aria Carbon Remote Electric Golf Push Cart

Buy the Aria Carbon Remote if weight is the deciding factor $1,349

18 lb, carbon fibre frame, and the lightest of the four by some margin. It also climbs the steepest at 30 degrees. You are paying a premium over the NOVA for less technology and a lighter frame, which is a good trade only if you lift the cart in and out of a car every single round. See the Aria Carbon Remote.

Follow M8 Auto-Follow Electric Golf Push Cart

Buy the Follow M8 if you want it to follow you today $1,799

The only one of the four that walks behind you now rather than in autumn. You get follow mode, remote and app control, 100 lb capacity and three rounds per charge. It is also the heaviest and the most expensive. An optional perch seat is $119 if you want somewhere to sit while you wait, though it is a resting seat rather than one you ride. See the Follow M8.

    The Honest Comparison

The NOVA is the one that makes the others hard to justify. It undercuts the Aria Carbon Remote by $150 while adding a screen, an app, four driving modes and 34 lb more carrying capacity. The Aria only wins on weight, and only if that genuinely matters to you.

At the top, the Follow M8 costs $600 more than the NOVA for follow mode you can have today. If you are happy to wait for the upgrade kit in autumn, the NOVA gets you there for less. If you are not, the Follow M8 is the only option in this range that does it.

At the bottom, the NEOS is not a compromise. It has the strongest motors and the highest top speed of all four. What it gives up is the screen, the app and the upgrade path.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Which Green Eagle caddy actually follows you?

The Follow M8, today. The NOVA can be upgraded to follow mode with an optional kit that Green Eagle expect to release in autumn 2026, sold separately. The NEOS and Aria Carbon Remote are remote controlled only and cannot be upgraded.

What happened to the Terra Electric?

Green Eagle discontinued it. The NEOS replaces it in their range at $799. The Terra name still exists on a manual push cart, but the electric version is no longer made.

Is the Aria Carbon still available without the remote?

No. Green Eagle now sell only the remote version. The non-remote Aria Carbon has been withdrawn.

Which has the longest battery life?

For a single charge, the NEOS covers 18 to 36 holes and the NOVA and Follow M8 each cover up to three rounds. Over the life of the pack, the NOVA and Follow M8 are rated for around 2,000 charge cycles against 1,500 for the NEOS and Aria Carbon Remote.

Can any of them carry a full tour bag?

All four. The NEOS and Aria Carbon Remote take 65 to 66 lb, the NOVA and Follow M8 take 100 lb.

Does the Follow M8 seat let me ride the cart?

No. It is a perch seat with a spring-loaded support leg, designed for sitting while you wait your turn. The leg lifts clear of the ground when you stand so the caddy can move off. It is not a ride-on seat.

Do they come with a warranty?

All four carry a two year Green Eagle warranty as standard.
