Buyer's Guide

Is This Right For You?

Tight or awkward room
Garage bays, basements, and low-ceiling rooms where a standard-throw projector can't be mounted far enough back
Hate shadows on the screen
The 0.499 throw ratio lets you mount it just above and behind the hitter, so your swing and clubhead never block the image
Low-maintenance laser
Sealed IP5X laser engine rated to 20,000 hours — no bulbs to source or replace over the projector's life
Runs any sim software
Plugs in over HDMI — works with GSPro, E6 Connect, TGC 2019, TrackMan and more, regardless of launch monitor
Very large commercial bays
At 4,000 lumens the AH500ST is built for home and single-bay commercial rooms — for wide multi-hitter screens or bright venue lighting, look at our higher-lumen laser projectors instead

The AH500ST uses a short throw ratio of 0.499, which means it can project a 10-foot-wide image from just over 5 feet away. This makes it ideal for compact simulator bays where you need a big image without a long throw distance.

Yes. The AH500ST outputs standard 1080p Full HD over HDMI, making it compatible with all major golf simulator software including E6 Connect, TGC 2019, GSPro, Creative Golf 3D, and Foresight Sports software. Simply connect your simulator PC via HDMI.

No. As a laser projector, the BenQ AH500ST lights instantly — no mercury lamp warm-up required. It also shuts off immediately, making it practical for sessions of any length.

The AH500ST delivers 4,000 lumens, which is sufficient for a darkened or light-controlled simulator bay. For best results, reduce ambient light in your hitting area. The laser light source maintains consistent brightness over its rated lifespan.

BenQ rates the laser light source at up to 20,000 hours of use, significantly outlasting traditional lamp-based projectors. The unit comes with BenQ's standard manufacturer warranty — contact us at +1 (424) 600 9901 to confirm current warranty terms for your region.
