What golfers say about Optoma ZK810TST 4K 8500 Lumen Laser Short-Throw Projector — Golf Simulator, True 4K

Collected from manufacturer and distributor listings for this product.

8100 lumens 4K laser short-throw is the top of the golf sim projector range and the image quality shows it. Any ambient light in the room is handled without compromise and the 4K resolution at that brightness is exceptional.
Ulric D.October 2025
If you want the highest specification short throw sim projector available, the ZK810TST is it. 4K laser, short-throw, 8100 lumens. The image in a non-blacked-out room is better than most people will ever see in a home sim.
Douglas R.December 2025
Commercial grade output in a golf sim format. The 8100 lumen 4K laser image on an impact screen looks exceptional. I built this into a commercial sim installation and the first thing every client says is something about the image.
Noel U.February 2026
8,100 lumens in a short-throw is a serious spec. We use this in a semi-lit commercial golf simulator — lights stay on at 50% and the image is still vivid and sharp. No rainbow effect, no lag. The 4K native resolution makes course graphics look photorealistic. Worth every penny for a commercial install.
