What golfers say about Optoma ZU920TST WUXGA 9800 Lumen Laser Short-Throw Projector — Golf Simulator

Collected from manufacturer and distributor listings for this product.

We project onto a 14 metre screen at a motorsport circuit for spectators in an outdoor grandstand. It starts in daylight and we cannot ask the sun to wait. 9500 lumens at short-throw is the combination that made it work. We have not had a complaint about image visibility since installing it.

Production company. We do immersive theatrical experiences where the projection is part of the set design. Short-throw keeps the hardware hidden and 9500 lumens means the visuals hold in scenes with practical stage lighting. The creative team can now light the space without compromising the projection.

We installed this in a trading floor for a financial services firm. Markets do not close early so the display runs all day. The short-throw mount keeps the ceiling clean and the brightness holds against the office lighting. Three months continuous operation with no service call.

9,500 lumens short-throw projector laser — this is the definitive simulator projector if you want to run with ambient light. We compared it against the 8200lm model and the step up is noticeable, especially on lighter course scenes. Colours are accurate, no artefacts, instant on. Best investment we've made in the facility.

Installed in a premium home simulator room. The short-throw projector design means no beam in the playing area at all. 9,500 lumens gives a genuinely brilliant image — our previous lamp-based projector is now embarrassing by comparison. Setup was clean and SimGolfer's guidance on screen pairing was spot on.

Running two of these in our side-by-side simulator bays. Consistency between units is excellent — same colour temp, same brightness, same setup. WUXGA resolution on a 130" screen is very sharp for E6 Connect and TGC2019. Laser means no costly lamp replacements either. Very happy.
