Room Size Guide

Room Size Guide — HD Golf 16:10 Widescreen

Executive

9'H x 15'W x 19'L

Best for a dedicated single-golfer room with width to spare — the entry point into the widescreen field of view.

Standard

10'H x 16'6"W x 20'L

Best for households and small commercial bays that want side-viewing space for guests without stepping up to Championship.

Championship

11'H x 17'W x 20'L

Best for commercial installs and tall players — the extra height and width remove any swing-clearance concern and support the largest immersive image in the flat-screen range.

Before You Enquire

Does Your Room Qualify?

HD Golf publishes a minimum room for each size. The Executive needs 9 ft of ceiling, 18 ft of length and 14 ft of width; the Championship needs 11 × 17 × 20 ft. Enter your room and we’ll tell you where you land.

Figures are HD Golf’s published minimums for the Executive size. Width is measured inside to inside of the frame supports. Measure to the lowest obstruction — tell us about any bulkheads, soffits, pipes or sprinklers.

Popular Add-Ons

The widescreen bay ships complete. Past buyers most often add extended warranty coverage for heavier group/commercial traffic, the SportSuite upgrade (the wider format suits soccer and baseball's field-of-play visuals well), and lounge/spectator seating — Standard and Championship tiers are built with that extra width in mind.

The 16:10 gives you roughly 33% more screen width, creating a noticeably more immersive experience. If your room is 15ft or wider, the widescreen makes full use of that space in a way the 4:3 can't.

Yes — identical dual-camera tracking system across all HD Golf models. The screen format doesn't affect accuracy.

Yes. HD Golf provides CAD (Computer-Aided Design) mechanical prep drawings with every formal quote at no charge. Contact us to start the process.

Yes. A build at this level is financed on a quote through our suppliers' finance programmes, subject to a credit application. Contact us and we will confirm the total and the options open to you.

HD Golf runs on its own proprietary simulation software with courses built from real geophysical, satellite, and hi-res imagery — not a third-party engine. That means it does not run GSPro or E6 Connect; you're playing HD Golf's in-house course library and game modes. If you specifically want GSPro or E6 Connect compatibility, ask us about our Trackman, Uneekor, or Foresight lineups instead.

HD Golf's Computer Vision system uses a minimum of four cameras per bay to capture club-face angle to within 0.1°, ball spin to +/- 100 rpm, plus launch angle, ball/club speed, swing path, and face contact point. It's camera-based rather than radar, so there's no dependency on a mat sensor to get full data.

Both. The core hardware and software are the same; the difference is enclosure finish, room tier, and support plan. Commercial operators typically ask about the 24/7 remote diagnostics option early since uptime matters more when you're charging by the hour.

You can move between room tiers (Executive → Standard → Championship) or add HD SportSuite's multi-sport library to an existing HD Golf bay without replacing the camera/tracking core. Talk to us before you build if there's a chance you'll want to expand later — it's cheaper to plan for it upfront.

You're covered by HD Golf's manufacturer warranty, and most software issues are resolved through their 24/7 remote diagnostics without a technician visit. For anything hardware-related, call us first at +1 (424) 600 9901 and we'll route it correctly.

Buyer's Guide

Which HD Golf Is Right For You?

All four run the same Computer Vision tracking core. The difference is screen geometry, room footprint, and — for SportSuite — what you can play on it.

HD Golf 4:3

Best for narrower rooms and garages where width is the limiting factor. The taller, more square screen prioritizes swing clearance over peripheral width.

This Model

HD Golf 16:10 Widescreen

Best for rooms with extra width to spare. A flat, wider screen delivers a more immersive field of view for course play and long-drive sessions.

HD Golf Curved Widescreen

Best for buyers who want the widescreen field of view without the widescreen footprint — the curve wraps the same immersive image into a narrower room than flat 16:10.

HD SportSuite

Best for households, lounges, and facilities that want more than golf — same tracking core, 30+ sports including baseball, hockey, and soccer on the same screen.

Not sure which fits your room? Call +1 (424) 600 9901 and we'll size it against your actual dimensions before you buy.

Product reviews

What golfers say about HD Golf 16:10 Widescreen Golf Simulator — Professional Grade, Widescreen Format

Collected from manufacturer and distributor listings for this product.

The widescreen format changes how the course reads. Your peripheral vision picks up more of the hole layout and it genuinely improves course management decisions.
Paul H.March 2025
I upgraded from a 4:3 setup to this. The widescreen is worth it for the way it opens up the course view. HD Golf software looks even better stretched across this format.
Robert K.February 2025
HD Golf on a proper widescreen enclosure is the complete sim experience. The software is detailed and the 16:10 format makes approach shots feel more natural.
Steven W.January 2025
Went with the 16:10 after seeing it at a demo. The extra width makes a real difference on par 5s where you can actually see the full landing zone. Great build quality.
